The Pokéwalker Included:

Take Pokémon with you, wherever you go, with the new Pokéwalker pedometer! By using an infrared connection, you can transfer a Pokémon onto your Pokéwalker. You’ll earn Experience Points as you go, to gain a level, and you might even find special Pokémon and other items and while you’re on the go! The Pokéwalker is small enough to carry in your pocket, or you clip it to your belt. The Pokéwalker will count the steps you take as you walk. The further you walk and the more steps you take, the more Watts you earn. You can spend Watts to find items and other Pokémon. When you transfer a Pokémon to your Pokéwalker, you can choose which Route you’d like to take. Be countryside or seaside you’ll meet wild Pokémon and find some extraordinary items. At first the list of Routes you can choose from is short, but the more strolls you and your Pokémon take, the more Routes will appear, allowing you collect more Pokémon and more items!

Catch Wild Pokémon!

Once earned, you can spend your ‘strolling’ Watts to use the Poké Radar to catch wild Pokémon! If the tall grass rustles when you’ve used the Poké Radar, then you’ve found a wild Pokémon, which you can attack, evade, or catch. If you attack, you can tire the wild Pokémon, making it easier to catch. If you evade when the wild Pokémon attacks, you’ll start a counterattack! Then, when you think the time is right, throw a Poké Ball to catch the wild Pokémon. You can have a maximum of three caught Pokémon on your Pokéwalker at any one time. If you catch a fourth, you must let one of them go free.

Find Items!

The Pokéwalker’s Dowsing Machine helps you to find items. You use your ‘strolling’ Watts you earned while walking to use the Dowsing Machine. You’ll see six patches of tall grass, one of them is hiding an item and you’ll have two chances to discover it! Some of the items are rare, unusual and very valuable, so keep looking! Time to Transfer! Remember, you can only keep three Pokémon and three items on your Pokéwalker at any one time, so make sure you send them back to your game when the inventory is full, or you’ll have to release one of the Pokémon, should you catch a fourth.

The Pokewalker Journal

The Pokemon Journal will store all your travels when you take it out with you. If you are travelling and your pokemon has behaved very good this will be shown in your journal. The Pokemon journal will keep a record of places it has been on so if you are trying to remember where you took the pokemon you can just refer back to the journal for a reminder. It is like a diary where it stores the information so you can catch up with friends and discuss what your pokemon has been doing.

Pokewalkers Communicate with Each Other!

This is really amazing the Pokewalkers can actually communicate with other pokewalkers how amazing is that. You can now connect with your friends and have pokewalkers connecting to each other via the signal which is infrared and then they can communicate away. When playing with your friends you can each get an item and by communicating with your friends via the Pokewalkers each of you can by get items up to 10 but the gifts are limited to one per day, making the next day even more exciting.
