With the release of the Wii Fit Plus on 30th October 2009, the Wii Fit game could be bought in 3 ways. The Software Wii Fit Plus can be purchased packaged with the Wii Balance Board which was always included with the original Wii Fit, or separately as a software disc if you already have the Wii Fit Board. Some retailers are still selling the original game with the balance board, but now these have become discontinued by Nintendo stock levels will soon replenish, and this will become unavailable.
Even at Christmas 2010, the Wii Fit Plus is still one of the most popular games on the market and its success is proven by the fact that Nintendo are still advertising it on prime time TV.
