House Party Games: are for two or more players and are physical activity games.

Pair Games: for two players only, taking part either co-operatively or competitively.

Other games include; Animal Tracker, here players place four Wii Remote™ controllers on a table and then listen for animal noise. Each Wii Remote will emit a different animal noise and the first player to grab the Wii Remote making the correct sound wins. This game can also be played with two people. Hide 'n' Hunt; has one player asking the other players to leave the room while they hide the Wii Remote controllers around the room. The other players will have a few seconds to locate the hidden controllers. This game can be played with just one Wii remote controller.

Wii Party mini-games include the Derby Dash where players use their Wii Remote as a whip, to get their horse to win the race, and Chop Chops where players race to cut through their vegetables in the quickest time.
